I'm eating a peanut butter sandwich right now. I have no jam to put on it. Actually I do, but it was all pasty and didn't look like the consistency that constitutes delicious jam, so after inspecting the jam and jabbing it with a knife I put it back in the fridger, unused. The jam is about 83% gone from previous usages. I was thinking about what a waste it is, and as a college student I shouldn't be so picky, but it's just gross. PLUS what if there's some kind of crazy microbe in their just waiting for me to eat it and die! Yeah, better not eat that pasty jam.
Maybe I'll go buy some of that Smucker's Apricot jam I love with all of my heart.
I made a grand total of two posts during the month of December. I'm pretty sure that makes me the awesome-est person I know.
Classes started today. I am about to tell an important story- this information will come into play later in the story: I went to an 8:00 class this morning- I am planning on being a TA for the Physiology lab I took last semester. We have a meeting at 11 today to figure out which labs we are assigned to, how much physiology credit we get, about being a TA, etc. So anyway I just re-read the email we got about being a TA for this class, and it turns out that we are going to have meetings every Thursday at 8 am to prepare for the next week's lab. So, I am going to have to drop my TTH 8:00 class so that I can make it to the meetings on Thursdays. This also means I have to pick up that same class for MWF at 8:00. Which also means that I have that class tomorrow. Here's where that tidbit at the beginning comes into play. I Already Went To That Class TODAY! Did I mention that the class is Family Life 100, Strengthening Marriages and Families. I'm not sure how I feel about the class yet. I know I will learn a lot in the class, but it's just so cheesey. Maybe it was cheesey today because we weren't learning anything, just going over the syllabus. Maybe in my new class I won't have to write a 20 page paper. That would definitely be a plus. And now my schedule is even sweeter than it was before. I suppose this could be a good thing.
Anyway, I hope ya'll had a great holiday break, I thoroughly enjoyed being with my crazy family again.
I took my first final this morning. Maggie and I were talking about it, and wondering...why does everyone get so stressed out about finals? I'm not saying that my finals/classes aren't hard, or that I'm being lazy or anything like that, but honestly it's not so bad. I had a week this semester with 5 exams in one week! That was crazy, that was stressful. The are a few huge differences between that week and this one. 1) After I finish this week the semester is over! 2) I don't have to work this week, at all. 3) No classes. 4) 5 exams 84 hours to study and take them (then another one online Friday morning when I'm home--in AZ).
I felt like I needed a between exams and study sessions treat/snack. But I'm fresh out of those, so I'm eating some Ghiradelli semi-sweet chocolate chips right now. It's quite tasty actually.
My family picked names for Christmas presents this year. I got Brooke. I made her present this weekend (A homemade present!) It is so awesome, if I didn't love Brooke so much, I'd keep it for myself. It's kind of a work of art, I'm trying to decide if I should sign the corner of them, just for fun.
It's been in the low 60's high 50's the past couple of days, Maggie says it's like we're having springtime for Christmas. I kind of like it, I miss Arizona weather.
So, I keep getting complaints about how I haven't been writing. I just want you all to know, that I have nothing interesting to say! Seriously though. I went back and read a few of my classic posts, and now I'm like "my life is so boring and lame". Ok, the lame part isn't really true. I actually am quite fond of how my life is going right now. So, for an update of my life:

I'm a Junior (which when I say that it makes me feel old. But then I think, I'm only twenty, I'm practically a child).
I LOVE my family.
I work in the Law Library, some people find this intriguing...I have no idea why, it's pretty boring.
CHRISTMAS IS IN 18 DAYS!!!
My roommate, Maggie, and I watch Gilmore Girls religiously. I called her today to let her know that I wasn't going to be making it to our weekly viewing because I had to take a physiology exam. To my utter delight, it was a re-run tonight and I didn't miss a new one!
I finished my last test for the semester (pre-final that is) I had 3 this week, and I am starting my 6 finals on Monday-- Lucky me!
We're going to rent a movie and watch it now, so I have to go.

1.What color are your Kitchen plates? A cremey beige-ish color with a blue ring around them like early 90's style correll dishes.
2.What book are you reading? That should probably be books...I'm reading Serve With Honor, Preparation Precedes Power, Gethsemane, Drawing on the Powers of Heaven, The Book of Mormon and other scriptures, and all of my school books like Human Physiology and Organic Chemistry, etc.
3.What is on your Mouse-pad? To quote Bryant, "Mouse pads are for sissies." In other words...I don't have/need one.
4.What's your favorite board game? Pounce. Oh wait that's cards. Board game...Star Wars Monopoly w/Higgins Family Rules
5.Favorite Magazine? Um, the Ensign. Yeah.
6.Favorite Smell? CHRISTMAS!! Oh, I mean the smells that go along with Christmas, like cinnamon potpurri that my mom boils on the stove and Christmas trees and Mexican Food (I mean Mexican Food at Christmas..yeah, I don't know)
7.Least favorite smell? I don't know gross smells.
8.What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? AAAAHHHHH!!! the alarms going off, quick turn it off before you wake up mags!
9.Least favorite color? I like mostly all colors, I don't discriminate.

11.Future child's name? Being a girl, I have a list. But we'll just go with one I heard recently that I like. Betty short for Elizabeth (which is a family name so Betty could work)
13.Favorite Sound? The sounds that storms make, rain on the roof, thunder, lightning, etc.

14.Chocolate or vanilla? It depends. I like a good twist cone, I love vanilla yogurt, but I also love chocolate everything else. So, I'm going to go with chocolate.

I should be saying Jesus Christ, Joseph Smith, Peter, John the Beloved, Moses, etc., but I figure those are given, so as a second choice it would be kind of cool to meet Gregor Mendel or Darwin my heroes in Biology (keep laughing mags, I know you think I'm a dork)

34.Favorite TV shows? haha. Lizzie McGuire when I'm watching it with my little sisters, and I have to say Gilmore Girls just for Mags. I don't actually watch too much tv.

Chandler and I are 12 years apart, so when I was a senior in High school she was in Pre-School. My senior year Chandler got out of school at around noon and went to a neighbors house, and I got out of school at 1:30 and picked her up. We got to spend the rest of the afternoon together until everyone else got home for the day. So, being the cooler, older sister that I am I'd try and find fun things for us to do together. We would go out to lunch, play at the big park, go to the mall and hit up the disney store and the pet shop where I would lift her up so that she could see all the doggies, go get some ice cream, etc. It was so much fun to hang out with Chandler especially since I was able to get to know her better before leaving for college.
Chandler is the girliest girl in our family, the rest of us range from mediocre girly to tom-boy. She loves Barbies. She has a Barbie kitchen, store, telephone, slug bug power wheel, CD player, and lots of Barbie Dolls. I have a good picture of her to put on here from when she broke her arm and got a sparkly blue and purple cast. I'll see what I can do about that.
